Abundant Healing

When was the last time you thought about the abundance in your life?

It seems that day in and day out we are collectively more focused on lack than abundance.  I recently attended a conference in San Diego with a select group of doctors, business owners, and entrepreneurs from around the world on the topic of "abundant thinking".
My wife Jeanine and I were invited to a private luncheon with the keynote speaker and author Peter Diamandis. His credentials alone would fill up a book.  Not only is he a MIT rocket scientist, he is also a graduate of Harvard medical school.
What an exciting outlook into health technology! In his book "Abundance", he highlights some of the future technologies that will make life and living healthier as well as more accessible for millions of people in impoverished areas. In fact, Peter highlighted how basic health screening tests will be available on our mobile devices.
As a chiropractor, I teach our patients how stress can cause subluxations. In Jeanine’s Ayurveda classes she works with the community on keeping your body in rhythm and reducing stressors. In addition, Ayurveda focuses on how important it is to be aware of what information you put into your brain at different times throughout the day. Truly amazing! A rocket scientist has such synchronicity to overall health. During the presentation he discussed how a part of the brain called the amygdala is the gate keeper for our survival mechanism and how watching negative news keeps us in a stressed state lowering the health of our immune system.
This is a man who lives his live with an abundant purpose. He has such an attitude of gratitude and strives to use technology to make a difference in all our lives. We truly live in an abundant world.
As long as we individually or collectively focus on lack rather than abundance this will be an ever growing problem affecting our long term health until we stand guard on what we put into our brain.
The best gift we give to ourselves and to our friends and family is our health. If you are ready to have a refreshed outlook on what abundance there is around us, I recommend reading his book and seeing for yourself all the abundance that we truly have available to us in life.
